Devices and methods for facilitating the transfer of at least a component of a material into a sterile vessel (12). Such devices and methods may utilize a housing (14) at least partially enclosing the sterile vessel to facilitate maintaining the sterility of the vessel before and during the transfer of the at least a component of a material into the sterile vessel.
