A parked or stored, fixed or rotary winged aircraft, utilizing piston type or gas turbine powerplants, and/or hydraulic powered flight controls, requires an aircraft diaper that wraps an absorbing material to the underside of said powerplant nacelles or aircraft fuselage. Said diapers purpose is to capture and retain aircraft systems fluids that, from time to time, vent overboard or leak from gaskets, packings, seals, lines, fittings, drain tubes, tanks or reservoirs. As well, if a major fluid spill is encountered while servicing or maintaining said aircraft fluid systems, said diaper can be used to assist in the capture and containment of these fluids, thus preventing or rectifying point source contamination of the environment from these petroleum based fluids. This aspect becomes more prevalent for aircraft operating at remote, austere locations or in delicate ecosystems.
