Coating of inorganic pigments with aldehyde or ketone resins and at least one dispersant, comprising a chemical compound consisting of particles of solid organic and inorganic substances, both defined as pigments, in that they are substances which absorb a fraction of the light and reflect the complementary part thereof, coated with aldehyde or ketone resins. The latter are deposited on the surface of the pigment by means of a process which envisages melting of the resin, consequent wetting and coating of the entire surface of the pigment with the resin in the melted state, the consequent cooling and subsequent step of atomization by mearts of mechanical systems operating in temperature conditions lower than 10°C, by means of cryogenic processes. The product resulting from this invention will be used as a semifinished product for the colouring and pigmentation of powder paints and plastics as a monochromatic colouring material and or will also be used, after dissolving in a solvent, as a pigmented paste in the liquid paints industry.
L'invention concerne un enrobage de pigments inorganiques effectué à l'aide d'un aldéhyde ou de résines de cétone et d'au moins un dispersant. Cet enrobage comprend un composé chimique constitué de particules de substances solides organiques et inorganiques, ces deux types de substance étant définies en tant que pigments car ce sont des substances qui absorbent une fraction de la lumière et qui réfléchissent sa partie complémentaire, ces pigments étant enrobés d'un aldéhyde ou de résines de cétone. Ces dernières sont déposées sur la surface du pigment à l'aide d'un procédé qui fait intervenir la fonte de la résine ce qui provoque une humidification et un enrobage ou de toute la surface des pigments par la résine à l'état fondue. Il s'ensuit une étape de refroidissement et une étape d'atomisation faisant appel à des systèmes mécaniques fonctionnant dans des conditions de température inférieure à 10°C grâce à des procédés cryogéniques. Le produit obtenu grâce à l'invention peut être utilisé en tant que produit semi-fini pour la coloration et pour la pigmentation de peintures et de plastiques en poudre servant de matières colorantes monochromatiques et peut également être utilisé, après dissolution dans un solvant, en tant que pâte pigmentée dans l'industrie des peintures liquides.
