A method of cooling a mixture, the mixture comprising a liquid having a gas dissolved therein, the method comprising the steps of providing the mixture along an input mixture line (3); splitting the mixture from the input mixture line into a plurality of heat exchange tubes (6); flowing a heat exchange fluid over the outside of the heat exchange tubes to cool the mixture; re-combining the mixture into an output mixture line (5); characterised in that the temperature of the heat exchange fluid is arranged such that the temperature of the mixture at the point of recombination in the output mixture line is at or below the solution temperature of the gas in the liquid.
L'invention porte sur un procédé de refroidissement d'un mélange comprenant un liquide dans lequel est dissous un gaz dissous. Le procédé consiste à préparer un mélange le long d'une ligne de mélange d'entrée; à séparer le mélange provenant de la ligne de mélange d'entrée dans une pluralité de tubes d'échange de chaleur; à faire circuler un fluide d'échange de chaleur sur l'extérieur des tubes d'échange de chaleur pour refroidir le mélange; à recombiner le mélange en une ligne de mélange de sortie. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que la température du fluide d'échange de chaleur est agencée de telle sorte que la température du mélange au point de recombinaison dans la ligne de mélange de sortie est égale ou inférieure à la température de solution du gaz dans le liquide.
