FLUID FILTERING APPARATUS AND TUBULAR FILTER THEREFOR Abstract A fluid filtering apparatus and in particular, a tubular filter construction for use therein. Each filter consists of one or more unitary cylindrical filter elements formed of porous material suitable for filtering inks, paints, and other liquids. Each filter element has upper and lower end portions and an intermediate portion therebetween, one of the end portions having a frusto- conical protrusion and the other end portion having a frusto-conical recess. Such recesses and protrusions are adapted to mate with the protrusions and recesses, respectively, of adjacent filter elements aligned there- with, or with supporting structural components of a filter housing.
