The invention relates to a device for limiting torque to be transferred, comprising A) at least two transfer elements (3; 4) which are coaxially arranged in relation to a longitudinal axis (5); B) a coaxially arranged housing (10) in which the transfer elements (3; 4) can be received and in which at least one of the transfer elements (3; 4) is rotatably positioned about the longitudinal axis (5); C) elastic means (7); and D) tensioning means (6) which enable the elastic means (7) to be pre-stressed to a desired pre- stressing force; E) the transfer elements (3; 4) being provided with additional teeth (11; 12) which can be engaged with each other, and can be pressed against each other by the elastic means (7). The maximum transferable torque can thus be limited by the pre-stressing force of the elastic means (7).

L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de limiter un couple à transmettre. Ce dispositif comprend : A) au moins deux éléments de transmission (3 ; 4) disposés coaxialement à un axe longitudinal (5) ; B) un logement (10) disposé coaxialement, pouvant loger les éléments de transmission (3 ; 4) et dans lequel au moins un de ces éléments de transmission (3 ; 4) est disposé de manière à pouvoir décrire un mouvement de rotation autour de l'axe longitudinal (5) ; C) des moyens élastiques (7) ; et D) des moyens de tension (6) permettant de précontraindre lesdits moyens élastiques (7) selon une force de précontrainte souhaitée. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que : E) les éléments de transmission (3 ; 4) sont pourvus de dentures complémentaires (11 ; 12) pouvant entrer en prise l'une avec l'autre et être pressées l'une contre l'autre par l'intermédiaire des moyens élastiques (7), et en ce que le couple maximal transmissible peut être limité par l'intermédiaire de la force de précontrainte des moyens élastiques (7).
