A process is described for synthesizing hydrocarbons from a mixture comprising carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst comprising at least one group VIII metal supported on a silica-alumina prepared by co-precipitating and calcining at a temperature in the range from about 500° C. to about 1200° C. for at least 6 hours such that said silica-alumina has a specific surface area of less than 260 m2/g. Said catalyst is used in a fixed bed or in suspension in a liquid phase of a three-phase reactor.
Procédé de synthèse d'hydrocarbures à partir d'un mélange comprenant du monoxyde de carbone et de l'hydrogène en présence d'un catalyseur comprenant au moins un métal du groupe VIII supporté sur une silice-alumine préparée par coprécipitation et calcinée à une température comprise entre environ 500°C et environ 1200°C pendant au moins 6 heures, de manière à ce que ladite silice-alumine présente une surface spécifique inférieure à 260 m2/g. Ledit catalyseur est mis en oeuvre en lit fixe, ou en suspension dans une phase liquide dans un réacteur triphasique.
