A support for flower boxes comprises a frame adapted to be secured at first location thereof to an end of a flower box and at an opposed second location thereof to a mounting surface. An orientation of the frame relative to the flower box is adjustable so that the support can be used for securing the flower box to mounting surfaces having different orientations. The frame is typically substantially triangle-shaped, with the first location being provided at an apex of the frame and with a ring being provided thereat and a fastening device, e.g. a bolt and a wing nut, being provided for engagement through the ring and into the flower box. The second location is generally provided at at least two positions along a side of the frame located opposite the apex. The frame can have sides that are longitudinally adjustable for varying a size of the frame. Generally, a support is used at each end of the flower box.
