A method of conducting operations to an offshore field from multiple separated drill centers using a floating vessel (42) having a turret-mounted mooring element (44) and a workstation (48) separate from the mooring element (44) in which the vessel (42) is moored at a central mooring element location and operations are sequentially carried out at separate drill centers associated with the mooring element location by allowing the vessel (42) to weathervane to a heading associated with a subsequent drill center once operations have been completed at a first drill center.
L'invention concerne un procédé de forage en mer courant plusieurs centres de forage, qui consiste à utiliser un engin flottant (42) à dispositif d'amarrage monté sur tourelle (44), et station de forage (48) séparée de ce dispositif (44). L'engin (42) est amarré sur un point d'amarrage central, et les opérations se déroulent en séquence dans les différents centres de forage associés au point d'amarrage: l'engin (42) peut ainsi effectuer un mouvement de girouette dans telle ou telle direction associée à un autre centre de forage, lorsque les opérations ont pris fin sur un premier centre de forage.
