The invention concerns a filter (1) whereof the reactor (2) comprises: in its bottom part, an inlet (3) for the effluents to be filtered and an outlet (6) of oxygenated gas; in its upper part, an outlet (14) for the filtered effluents; filtering means (18) including media layers and an attached biomass, of density lower than that of the effluents to be filtered and interposed between the inlet and the outlet. The reactor is subdivided by means of racks (19a, 19b, 19c) retaining the filtering means into at least two filtering stages (20a, 20b, 20c) and into an upper outlet stage (17), wherein emerges the outlet (14) for the filtered effluents. Each filtering stage is provided with a layer and its own filtering means and comprises, in its bottom part, a withdrawing outlet (22a, 22b, 22c) for excess biomass.

Le réacteur (2) du filtre (1) comprend : en partie basse, une entrée (3) des effluents à filtrer et une entrée (6) de gaz oxygéné ; en partie haute, une sortie (14) des effluents filtrés ; des moyens filtrants (18) comprenant des couches de supports et une biomasse accrochée, de densité inférieure à la densité des effluents à filtrer et interposés entre l'entrée et la sortie. Le réacteur est subdivisé au moyen de grilles (19a, 19b, 19c) retenant les moyens filtrants en au moins deux étages de filtration (20a, 20b, 20c) et un étage supérieur de sortie (17), dans lequel débouche la sortie (14) des effluents filtrés. Chaque étage de filtration est pourvu d'une couche de ses propres moyens filtrants et comprend, en partie inférieure, une sortie de soutirage (22a, 22b, 22c) de la biomasse excédentaire.
