The invention provides hops (Humulus lupulus) extracts or derivatives thereof for use in treating a patient prophylactically and/or therapeutically for ulcerogenic-type disorders of the stomach and/or intestines. The ulcerogenic disorders can be of the type chemically induced, environmentally-induced, infection-induced, and/or stress-induced. The invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising an active amount of hops extracts or derivatives thereof, in combination with an analgesic compound and/or an anti- inflammatory compound. The invention further provides for use of hops extracts or derivatives thereof, significantly reducing and/or therapeutically treating ulcerogenic-type disorders of the stomach and/or intestines.
L'invention concerne des extraits de houblon commun (Humulus lupulus) ou des dérivés de ceux-ci utilisés pour traiter par prophylaxie et/ou par thérapie un patient souffrant de troubles de l'estomac et/ou des intestins du type ulcérogène. Ces troubles du type ulcérogène peuvent être induits par une substance chimique, par l'environnement, par une infection et/ou par le stress. L'invention concerne également une composition pharmaceutique comprenant une quantité active d'extraits de houblon commun ou de dérivés de ceux-ci combinée à un composé analgésique et/ou un composé anti-inflammatoire. L'invention concerne enfin l'utilisation de ces extraits de houblon commun ou de dérivés de ceux-ci afin de réduire significativement et/ou de traiter thérapeutiquement des troubles de l'estomac et/ou des intestins du type ulcérogène.
