ABSTRACT Pharmaceutical Compositions The invention provides a multiphase suppository comprising an outer phase of a suppository base containing at least one active component of the suppository and at least one inner phase containing at least one further active component of the suppository, whereby on melting of said outer phase by body heat after administration, the inner phase or phases subsequently release said further component or components, said suppository having one or more flexible attachments to assist location in the ano-rectal region. The invention also provides a method of manufacturing such multiphase suppositories and apparatus suitable for use in such manufacture.
