The above-mentioned objects are achieved in accordance with the invention by a method for transferring information from an information provider (100) to an information consumer (190) in a highly efficient manner by means of a digital audio broadcasting (DAB, 140) system and a secondary bidirectional transfer network (130). The secondary network provides information of where the DAB receiver (191) of the information consumer is located so that only suitable DAB transmitters (146) in the area are used for the information transfer itself. The location is determined by having at least one transmitter identification information (TII) of one transmitter that the receiver can receive transferred via the secondary network. Thereby only the necesary DAB transmitters need to be used for the information transfer, thus relieving the rest of the DAB transmitters (145, 147) from an unnecessary downloading.
L'invention concerne un procédé de transfert d'information très efficace d'un fournisseur d'information (100) à un consommateur d'information (190), au moyen d'un système de radiodiffusion audionumérique (RAN, 140) et d'un réseau de transfert bidirectionnel secondaire (130). Le réseau secondaire fournit des information sur l'endroit où se trouve le récepteur RAN (191) du consommateur d'information, de sorte que seuls les émetteurs RAN appropriés (146) de la zone soient utilisés pour le transfert d'information à proprement dit. L'endroit est déterminé par le transfert d'au moins une information d'identification d'émetteur (TII) d'un émetteur que le récepteur peut recevoir, sur le réseau secondaire. Ainsi, seuls les émetteurs RAN nécessaires sont utilisés pour le transfert d'information, ce qui permet d'éviter le téléchargement inutile des émetteurs RAN (145, 147).
