A power supply for a printhead assembly (10) includes a first strip (60) of an electrically conductive material, the first strip (60) having a pair of spaced terminals (104) projecting from a side edge thereof and a second strip (58) of an electrically conductive material, the second strip (58) having a single terminal (100) projecting from a corresponding side edge thereof. The arrangement is such that, when the two strips (58, 60) are arranged side by side, the single terminal (100) of the second strip (58) is arranged between, and equidistantly from, the two terminals (104) of the first strip (60). A strip of insulating material (96) is arranged between the two strips (58, 60).
