An input position measuring instrument for accurately and readily measuring the input position inputted by an input unit and an entertainment system for measuring the position of a child machine, displaying an image formed by executing a program on a viewpoint with the position of the child machine as the center and allowing the player to set an optimal viewpoint are disclosed. A portable game terminal (3) is held by an operator (7). The portable game terminal (3) has an infrared input/output unit (8), which transmits an infrared signal according to the operation by the operator (7) to an infrared input/output device (4). The infrared input/output device (4) connected to a monitor device (6) and a CCD camera (5) are arranged side by side and directed toward the operator (7). A game machine body (2) measures the position of the portable game terminal (3) based on the difference between the input image by the CCD camera (5) just before the operator (7) operates the portable game machine (3) to transmit an infrared signal from the infrared input/output unit (8) to the infrared input/output device (4) and the input image when the infrared rays are radiated.
L'invention concerne un instrument de mesure de position d'entrée, destiné à mesurer de manière précise et facile la position d'entrée, entrée par une unité correspondante, ainsi qu'un système récréatif destiné à mesurer la position d'une machine de jeu électronique d'enfant, à afficher une image formée par exécution d'un programme sur un point de vue à l'aide de la position de la machine de jeu électronique en tant que centre, et à permettre au joueur de régler un point de vue optimal. L'invention concerne un terminal (3) de jeu portatif, tenu par un opérateur (7) dans sa main. Ce terminal (3) possède une unité infrarouge d'entrée/sortie (8), laquelle transmet un signal infrarouge, en fonction de la commande par l'opérateur (7), à un dispositif infrarouge d'entrée/sortie (4), lequel est relié à un écran (6), est disposé côte à côte avec une caméra CCD (5) et est dirigé avec celle-ci vers l'opérateur (7). Un corps (2) de machine de jeu électronique mesure la position du terminal portatif (3) d'après la différence existant entre l'image entrée par la caméra CCD (5) juste avant que l'opérateur (7) ne fasse fonctionner la machine de jeu électronique (3) pour transmettre un signal infrarouge à partir de l'unité infrarouge d'entrée/sortie (8) vers le dispositif infrarouge d'entrée/sortie (8), et l'image entrée lorsque les rayons infrarouges sont rayonnés.
