The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of a particulate bleach activator component comprising the steps of: (i) preparing a mix of solids, and optionally liquids, comprising the bleach activator; (ii) extruding the mix through a die under pressure to form an extrudate, the pressure being less 25 bar; (iii) breaking the extrudate to form the particulate component; wherein the particulate bleach activator component is substantially dust-free and still disperses and releases peracid rapidly upon contact with, or immersion in, wash solution containing peroxy acid bleach at typical domestic washing temperatures.

L'invention porte sur un procédé de fabrication d'activateurs de blanchiment particulaires, consistant: (i) à préparer un mélange de solides et éventuellement de liquides comprenant ledit activateur; (ii) à extruder le mélange par une filière sous une pression de moins de 25 bar de sorte qu'un extrudat soit formé; (iii) à désagréger l'extrudat pour former le produit particulaire. Ledit activateur particulaire ainsi obtenu est sensiblement exempt de poussières; il se disperse néanmoins rapidement et libère rapidement du peracide par contact avec ou immersion dans la solution de lavage contenant le peroxyacide de blanchissement à la température usuelle de lavage domestique.
