A multilayer hollow plastic article, in which the individual layers are produced in defined mould cavities by injection moulding, has a neck ring (10h). Due to the fact that the neck ring (10h) has a recess (10g) in which at least one of the middle layers (62) is accommodated and limited in the direction of the neck ring (10f) (sic), it is also realized in the injection moulding in successive layers that material of the subsequent layers is arranged reliably below the neck ring in the plastic article.
