A cationic amphipathic compound of formula (I), wherein A is a single bond, an NH-R' grouping or (a), where -R'- is a straight or branched, optionally substituted, saturated or unsaturated C1-22 aliphatic chain optionally interrupted by one or more O, S or N heteroatoms and one or more saturated, unsaturated or aromatic carbocyclic or heterocyclic radicals; each of R1, R2 and R3, which are the same or different, is a higher acyl or alkyl grouping; each of R7, R8 and R9, which are the same or different, is a (CH2)n alkylene radical where 1</=n</=6; each of R4, R5 and R6, which are the same or different, is a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted C1-22 alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or acyl radical optionally interrupted by one or more heteroatoms selected from O, S and N, or one or more saturated, unsaturated or aromatic carbocyclic or heterocyclic radicals, or else at least two of the groupings R4, R5 and R6, taken together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, form a quinuclidino, piperidino, pyrrolidino or morpholino grouping, and X is a non-toxic anion. For use as a drug, a transfection agent or an additive in a vaccine composition.
L'invention a pour objet un composé amphipathique cationique de formule (I), dans laquelle: A représente une simple liaison, un groupement NH-R', ou un groupement (a), où -R'- est une chaîne aliphatique comportant de 1 à 22 atonies de carbone, linéaire ou ramifiée, éventuellement substituée, saturée ou insaturée, éventuellement interrompue par un ou plusieurs des hétéroatomes O, S, N, ainsi que par un ou plusieurs radicaux carbocycliques ou hétérocycliques, saturés, insaturés ou aromatiques; R1, R2, R3 sont identiques ou différents et représentent chacun un groupement alkyle au acyle supérieur, R7, R8, R9 sont identiques ou différents et représentent chacun un radical alkylène(CH2)n où 1<=n<=6; R4, R5, R6 sont identiques ou différents et représentent chacun: un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle, alcényle, alcynyle ou acyle comportant de 1 à 22 atomes de carbone, éventuellement substitué, éventuellement interrompu par un ou plusieurs hétéroatomes choisis parmi O, S, N, ou par un ou plusieurs radicaux carbocycliques ou hétérocycliques, saturés, insaturés ou aromatiques, ou encore, au moins 2 des groupements R4, R5 et R6 forment ensemble avec l'atome d'azote auquel ils sont liés un groupement quinuclidino, piperidino, pyrrolidino ou morpholino, X est un anion non toxique, pour son utilisation comme médicament, comme agent de transfection, ou comme adjuvant dans une composition vaccinale.
