COSMID VECTORS FOR STREPTOMYCETES GENOMIC DNA CLONING Abstract Novel cosmid cloning vectors are disclosed. Such vectors facilitate many steps involved in cloning chromosomal DNA restriction fragments from streptomycetes. The cosmids have Adenine and Thymine-rich recognition sequences for several restriction enzymes flanking cloning sites. Also disclosed are host cells containing the novel cosmid cloning vectors.
