Pharmaceutical compositions containing N-methylated cyclic undecapeptides, especially for internal use, are provided comprising(A) 0.1 to 20 parts by weight of a cyclosporin; (B) 0.3 to 60 parts by weight of at least one emulsifier selected from the group consisting of anhydro-mannitol oleyl ether, lactoglyceride and citroglyceride; (C) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of an emulsion stabiliser comprising aluminium-magnesium hydroxystearate of empirical formula Al5Mg10 (OH) 31 (C17H35COO)4 in the form of a lipogel; and(D)0.2 to 40 parts by weight of at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of 1,4:3,6-dianhydro- 2,5-di-O-methyl-D-glucitol, 1,3-dimethyl-2- imidazolidinone and ethanol, wherein the ratio of cyclosporin to emulsifier is in the range 1:0.5 to 1:30.
