The device is characterized in that it comprises, in combination, a horizontal circular support plate (1) for animals (2), rotated about a vertical axis (3), a cylindrical wall (4) the outside diameter of which is approximately the same as that of the rotating plate (1), this wall delimiting an internal confining space (7) forming a cage for housing the animals moving freely on the plate, a fixed intermediate partition (12) extending inside the cylindrical wall (4) and dividing the internal confining space into two opposed compartments (13, 14), an upper closing lid (15), which is preferably removable, secured to the intermediate partition (12) and extending parallel to the plate (1), and a system (36) for supplying breathing gas through the closing lid (15) for the animals (2) present in the two opposed compartments (13, 14) of the confining space (7).
Le dispositif se caractérise en ce qu'il comporte, en combinaison, un plateau circulaire horizontal (1) de support des animaux (2), entraîné en rotation autour d'un axe vertical (3), une paroi cylindrique (4) dont le diamètre extérieur est sensiblement égal à celui du le plateau tournant (1), cette paroi délimitant un espace de confinement interne (7) formant cage pour le logement des animaux se déplaçant librement sur le plateau, une cloison intermédiaire (12), fixe, s'étendant dans la paroi cylindrique (4) en partageant l'espace de confinement interne en deux compartiments opposés (13, 14), un couvercle de fermeture supérieur (15), de préférence amovible, solidarisé de la cloison intermédiaire (12) et s'étendant parallèlement au plateau (1), et un système (36) d'amenée d'un gaz respiratoire à travers le couvercle de fermeture (15) pour les animaux (2) présents dans les deux compartiments opposés (13, 14) de l'espace de confinement (7).
