A method and apparatus for facilitating the termination of cables to equipment mounted inside equipment racks or cabinets comprising of one or more cable termination equipment such as patch panels, cable termination strips and terminal blocks, and printed circuit boards fitted with cable termination blocks or fibre optic termination equipment. The method and appa-ratus of this invention make it possible to terminate cables to rack mounted equipment with ease and comfort.
