In a reel-up comprising a reeling cylinder, a reeling drum is supported relative to the reeling cylinder so that the reeling cylinder and reeling drum form a nip for receiving a web being reeled onto the reeling drum, and the relative positions of the reeling cylinder and the reeling drum are adjusted in order to adjust the force acting on the web in the nip.
