The invention relates to a valve incorporating a flexible diaphragm, and improves upon known diaphragm valves to permit the use of a diaphragm-controlled valve in systems for which such valves were not previously suitable or utilised. There is provided a valve which includes a housing (2, 3, 34) having a hollow interior within an outer housing surface (31), a diaphragm (1a, 1b) extending across the interior and creating a diaphragm control chamber (10) within the interior, a valve seat (4) against which a part (la) of the diaphragm can seal, a first conduit (5) leading around at least pan of the valve seat, a second conduit (6) leading to within the valve seat, and a diaphragm control means (8, 9; 91, 92; 101; 111, 112), characterised in that the diaphragm control chamber is isolated from the first and second conduits. A valve unit and a flow control system are also disclosed, utilising one or more valves as herein described.
L'invention se rapporte à une vanne incorporant une membrane flexible et à des perfectionnements relatifs aux vannes à membranes et destinés à permettre l'utilisation d'une vanne à membrane dans des systèmes auxquels ce type de vannes n'était jusqu'à présent pas adapté. L'invention concerne une vanne qui comporte un logement (2, 3, 34) ayant une partie intérieure creuse située à l'intérieur d'une surface externe (31) du logement, une membrane (1a, 1b) disposée à travers la partie intérieure et délimitant au sein de ladite partie intérieure une chambre de commande de la membrane (10), un siège de vanne (4) contre lequel une partie (1a) de la membrane peut former un joint étanche, un premier conduit (5) disposé autour d'au moins une partie du siège de vanne, un second conduit (6) disposé à travers le siège de vanne et un organe de commande de la membrane (8, 9; 91;92; 101; 111, 112), ladite vanne se caractérisant en ce que ladite chambre de commande de la membrane est isolée du premier et du second conduits. L'invention se rapporte également à une unité à vanne et à un système de commande de flux utilisant une ou plusieurs vannes du type décrit ci-dessus.
