An inboard propeller has a tapered body and two or more blades. The body has a front end and a rear end greater in outer diameter than the front end. The blades have an inner side, an arcuate outer side, a front edge contiguous to the front end of the body, a rear edge contiguous to the rear end of the body, a front blade face corresponding to the front end of the body, a rear blade face corresponding to the rear end of the body, a front profile line extending from the front edge to the rear edge on the front blade face, and a rear profile line extending from the front edge to the rear edge on the rear blade face. The rear blade face has an imaginary rear extension line extending from the inner side along the axial direction of the body towards the arcuate outer side. The front blade face has an imaginary front extension line corresponding to and longer than the rear extension line.
La présente invention a pour objet une hélice pour moteur en-bord constitué d'un corps de forme conique doté de deux ou de plusieurs pales. Le corps comporte une extrémité avant et une extrémité arrière dont le diamètre est supérieur au diamètre de l'extrémité avant. Les pales de l'hélice comportent une face interne, une face externe de profil courbe, un bord avant contigu à l'extrémité avant du corps de l'hélice, un bord arrière contigu à l'extrémité arrière du corps de l'hélice, une face avant correspondant à l'extrémité avant du corps, une face arrière correspondant à l'extrémité arrière du corps, un profil avant allant du bord avant au bord arrière de la face de la pale arrière. La face de la pale arrière est prolongée vers l'arrière par une ligne imaginaire allant de la face interne dans la direction axiale du corps et vers la face extérieure de profil courbe. La face de la pale avant est prolongée vers l'avant par une ligne imaginaire correspondant au moins à la longueur de la ligne de prolongement arrière.
