There is described a cylinder body (10) for orienting magnetic flakes contained in an ink or varnish vehicle applied on a sheet-like or web-like substrate, which cylinder body (10) has a plurality of magnetic-field-generating devices (50, 60) disposed on an outer circumference of the cylinder body (10). The cylinder body (10) comprises a plurality of distinct annular supporting rings (40) distributed axially along a common shaft member (20), each annular supporting ring (40) carrying a set of magnetic-field-generating devices (50, 60) which are distributed circumferentially on an outer circumference of the annular supporting rings (40).
L'invention concerne un corps cylindrique (10) pour orienter des flocons magnétiques contenus dans un véhicule d'encre ou de vernis appliqué sur un substrat de type feuille ou de type bande, lequel corps cylindrique (10) a une pluralité de dispositifs de génération de champ magnétique (50, 60) disposés sur une périphérie externe du corps cylindrique (10). Le corps cylindrique (10) comporte une pluralité de bagues de support annulaires distinctes (40) distribuées axialement le long d'un élément d'arbre commun (20), chaque bague de support annulaire (40) portant un ensemble de dispositifs de génération de champ magnétique (50, 60) qui sont distribués en périphérie sur la périphérie externe des bagues de support annulaires (40).
