This invention concerns a process for recovering highly fluorinated carboxylic acids from waste gas streams in which the waste gas is brought into contact with an alkaline wash solution > 1.15 g/cm3, so that the salt of the highly fluorinated carboxylic acid precipitates as a separate phase. This process is particularly advantageous if the alkaline wash solution is a potassium carbonate solution.
L'invention concerne un procédé pour récupérer des acides carboxyliques très fluorés contenus dans des courants gazeux résiduaires, dans lequel le gaz résiduaire est mis en contact avec une solution de lavage alcaline de masse volumique > 1,15 g/cm?3¿, afin que le sel de l'acide carboxylique très fluoré précipite sous forme de phase séparée. Ce procédé est particulièrement avantageux si la solution de lavage alcaline est une solution de carbonate de potassium.
