A handoff implementing device and method in a mobile communication system. The handoff implementing device including a base station transmitter and a mobile station receiver. The base station transmitter divides a given frame period into a transmission period and a non-transmission period, separates frame data in the frame period into first and second data, spreads the first and second data by different orthogonal codes, and transmits the spread signal in the transmission period. The mobile station receiver receives the first and second data spread by the different orthogonal codes in the transmission period, assembles the first and second data into the frame data, and searches for an adjacent base station to which a call is handed off in the non-transmission period.
Dispositif et procédé d'exécution d'un transfert dans un système de télécommunication mobile. Le dispositif exécutant le transfert comprend un émetteur de station de base et un récepteur de station de base. L'émetteur de station de base divise une période de trame donnée en une période de transmission et une période de non transmission, il sépare les données de trame de la période de trame en premières et secondes données, il étale les premières et secondes données selon différents codes orthogonaux et il transmet le signal étalé dans la période de transmission. Le récepteur de la station mobile reçoit les premières et secondes données étalées par les différents codes orthogonaux dans la période de transmission, il assemble les premières et secondes données dans les données de trame et il recherche une station de base proche à laquelle un appel est transféré dans la période de non transmission.
