An angiographic injector system includes a manifold and valve which selectively connects either a syringe pump or a low pressure system to a catheter which is inserted into a patient. The valve is normally biased to a state which connects the low pressure system to the catheter for pressure monitoring, saline flushing, or aspirating functions. When an injection is to be made, the valve automatically switches so that the low pressure system is disconnected and not exposed to high pressure, while the syringe pump is connected through the manifold to the catheter.
L'invention concerne un système d'injection pour angiographie comprenant un collecteur et une soupape connectant sélectivement une pompe-seringue ou un système à faible pression à un cathéter qui est introduit dans le corps d'un patient. La soupape est normalement contrainte par ressort dans une position de connexion du système à faible pression au cathéter pour des fonctions de contrôle de pression, d'irrigation de solution saline ou d'aspiration. Lorsqu'une injection doit être effectuée, la soupape se commute automatiquement de sorte que le système à faible pression est déconnecté et n'est pas exposé à une forte pression, tandis que la pompe-seringue est connectée, à travers le collecteur, au cathéter.
