L'invention concerne un dispositif pour limiter le bruit dans.les "zéros" des signaux RZ optiques; le dispositif comprenant une fibre biréfringente pour décaler spectralement les signaux entre eux en fonction de leur intensité, et un filtre pour filfrer les signaux décalés. Le filtre atténue les impulsions correspondant à des "zéros", mais laisse passer les impulsions correspondant à des "uns". L'invention permet de limiter le bruit dans les "zéros" d'un signal RZ.
