This invention relates to an attachable, and preferably a reposi- tionable, antistatic envelope for holding disk-shaped magnetic infor- mation carriers comprising a pair of opposite flat sheets. Each sheet has sides and an outer surface: One sheet is superimposed over the other, so as to provide space for at least one disk. The sheets are joined at their edges, except for one side defining an open side for the envelope. The open side is open for receiving between those flat sheets at least one diskette or the like, and provided with a closure for closing, at least partly, the open side of the envelope, in order to secure in the envelope diskettes or the like. One of the outer surface of one of the opposite flat sheets has preferably a reposi- tionable glue, or other fabric or other adhesive. Thus the envelope may be permanently or temporarily attached to a given surface and its position may be changed for other surfaces, as one wishes. A blank for making such an envelope is also disclosed.
