Systems and methods for finishing top surfaces of concrete filled access floor panels include the application of at least one material to a top surface of an access floor panel. The top surface may be prepared by grinding and cleaning prior to application of material. Stains, primers, concretes, epoxies, polyurethanes, clear coats, or other finishing materials may be applied to create a plurality of layers on the surface of the floor panel, producing different aesthetically pleasing, or well performing finished surfaces. After application, the materials may be subjected to infrared light, ultraviolet light, or forced air to accelerate drying or curing. The materials may be applied, dried, and cured in an automated production line while the floor panel moves along a conveyor.
L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés permettant de finir des surfaces supérieures de panneaux de plancher remplis de béton, qui consistent à appliquer au moins un matériau sur une surface supérieure d'un panneau de plancher. On peut préparer ladite surface par meulage et nettoyage avant de lui appliquer ledit matériau. Des teintures, apprêts, bétons, epoxides, polyuréthanes, revêtements clairs ou d'autres matériaux de finition peuvent être appliqués sur la surface du panneau de plancher, les surfaces ainsi produites étant alors différentes, esthétiquement agréables, ou d'excellente exécution. Après application, les matériaux peuvent être soumis à la lumière infrarouge, à la lumière ultraviolette ou à de l'air forcé pour en accélérer le séchage ou le durcis. Les matériaux peuvent être appliqués séchés ou durcis dans une chaîne de production automatisée pendant que le panneau de plancher avance le long d'un convoyeur.
