The invention relates to a net which is knit from fringes (2, 2.1, 2.2, 26) and weft threads (3) and in which at least one fringe (2.1) is shorter than the other fringes (2) of the net in at least one peripheral area (24, 25) of the net (1). The invention further relates to a method for producing said net on a knitting machine. According to said method, loops that are shorter than in the other areas of the net are created in at least one peripheral area when the net is knit in order to form meshes from which the fringes are knit. Also disclosed is a knitting machine for producing a net, comprising a first guide bar (6) for feeding the weft threads, a second guide bar (7) for feeding the warps, a needle bar (13) with needles (10), and a take-down device (22). The needle (10) is placed higher than the other needles in at least one position on the needle bar (13) in which the peripheral area (24, 25) of the net is knit.
La présente invention concerne un maillage réalisé à partir de franges (2, 2.1, 2.2, 26) et de fils de trame (3), au moins une frange (2.1) étant plus courte dans au moins une zone marginale (24, 25) du maillage (1), que les autres franges (2) du maillage. L'invention a également pour objet un procédé pour réaliser le maillage sur un métier à tricoter, des boucles plus courtes que dans les autres zones du maillage, destinées à former des mailles à partir desquelles les franges sont tricotées, étant produites dans au moins une zone marginale lors du tricotage du maillage. L'invention a également pour objet un métier à tricoter pour réaliser un maillage, ledit métier à tricoter comprenant une première barre d'alimentation (6) destinée à fournir les fils de trame, une seconde barre d'alimentation (7) destinée à fournir les fils de chaîne, une barre d'aiguilletage (13) comprenant des aiguilles (10), et un dispositif de levée (22), les aiguilles (10), en au moins un emplacement de la barre d'aiguilletage (13) au niveau duquel la zone marginale du réseau est tricotée, étant positionnées à une hauteur supérieure à celle des autres aiguilles.
