A cable tray assembly for supporting cables, wire and the like. The assembly includes an elongate rail (12) including an open channel (16) extending along the length thereof. The assembly further includes at least one support member (32). Finally, the assembly includes a locking connector (90) cooperating with the support member (32). The connector (90) is sized and configured for insertion into the channel (16) whereby insertion of the connector (90) into the channel (16) simultaneously locates the member (32) at a position along the rail (12) and fixedly secures the member (32) to the rail (12) in the absence of fastening hardware.

Ainsi, l'insertion du raccord (90) dans le passage (16) entraîne simultanément le positionnement de l'élément (32) le long de la traverse (12) et la fixation à demeure de l'élément (32) à la traverse (12) sans pièce de fixation.
