The present invention relates to novel quinoxaline, quinazoline and phthalazine derivatives as well as multimeric derivatives, methods for their preparation, pharmaceutical compositions including such compounds, and methods of using these compounds for the treatment and prevention of brain damage resulting from brain injury, especially secondary brain damage due to traumatic brain injury (TBI). The compounds of the invention are also useful in treating and preventing neurodegenerative diseases.

La présente invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés de quinoxaline, de quinazoline et de phthalazine et des dérivés multimères ; l'invention concerne également des procédés permettant de préparer lesdits composés, des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant lesdits composés, et des procédés d'utilisation desdits composés pour le traitement et la prévention de dommages cérébraux résultant d'une lésion cérébrale, notamment de dommages cérébraux secondaires dus à une lésion cérébrale traumatique (TBI). Les composés concernés par l'invention sont également utiles dans le traitement et la prévention de maladies neurodégénératives.
