The disclosure is directed to an article including a first layer, second layer, and third layer. The first layer includes a fluoropolymer having a first major surface and a second major surface. The second layer overlies the first major surface of the first layer and includes an adhesive layer. The third layer overlies the second layer and includes a polymeric material. The article has a burst performance greater than 200 N as measured by ASTM D751 and a chemical permeation breakthrough detection time greater than about one hour as measured by ASTM F739. The disclosure is further directed to a method of forming the aforemen-tioned multi-layer article.

La présente invention concerne un article comportant une première couche, une seconde couche, et une troisième couche. La première couche comporte un polymère fluoré présentant une première surface principale et une seconde surface principale. La seconde couche est sus-jacente à la première surface principale de la première couche et comporte une couche adhésive. La troisième couche est sus-jacente à la seconde couche et comporte un matériau polymère. Larticle présente une résistance à léclatement supérieure à 200N selon la norme ASTM D751 et un temps de détection de passage de perméation chimique supérieur à environ une heure selon la norme ASTM F739. Linvention concerne également un procédé de formation dudit article multicouche.
