An improved process of production of a chlorinated sugar is described comprising chlorination of a partially protected sugar, wherein quenching as well as neutralization of chlorinated reaction mass is carried out concurrently and continuously in a reactor which is a continuous mixer as well as quencher providing continuous mixing of chlorination reaction mixture and pH adjusting solution and also provides for continuous quenching and continuous removal of quenched chlorinated reaction mixture.
L'invention concerne un procédé amélioré de fabrication d'un sucre chloré, comprenant la chloration d'un sucre en partie protégé, la trempe et la neutralisation de la masse réactionnelle chlorée étant réalisées de manière simultanée et continue dans un réacteur consistant en un mélangeur continu, ainsi qu'un dispositif de trempe, permettant de réaliser un mélange continu du mélange réactionnel chloré et de la solution d'ajustement du pH, ainsi qu'une trempe continue et une élimination continue du mélange réactionnel chloré trempé.
