A process for making a mixture of polyol and at least one additional reaction component for the manufacture of polyol fatty acid polyesters comprises co- milling the polyol and the additional reaction component. The co-milling reduces the particulate size of the polyol and the additional reaction component while creating particles which include an admixture of polyol and the additional reaction component. The co-milled mixture of polyol and additional reaction component can be used, for example, as a feed stream for the transesterification reaction of the polyol to produce a polyol fatty acid polyester.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un mélange constitué d'un polyol et d'au moins un composant réactionnel d'addition pour la fabrication de polyesters d'acide gras au polyol. Ledit procédé consiste à co-broyer le polyol et le composant réactionnel d'addition. Le co-broyage permet de réduire la taille des particules du polyol et du composant réactionnel d'addition et de créer des particules comprenant un mélange additionnel de polyol et dudit composant réactionnel d'addition. Le mélange co-broyé de polyol et de composant réactionnel d'addition peut être utilisé, par exemple, en tant que courant d'apport pour la réaction de transestérification du polyol pour la production de polyester d'acide gras au polyol.
