According to the invention, the tubular preform radially mouldable between a folded state in the longitudinal direction and a susbstantially cylindrical unfolded state, in order to form in situ a rigid tube section, comprises a flexible leakproof inner envelope (6), the perimeter of which is equal to the inner perimeter of the tube section and, on the exterior of this inner envelope, reinforcement in the form of a filamentary structure comprising a plurality of fibres impregnated with a hardening resin, the fibres (3) being chiefly oriented in the peripheral direction of the preform, each of these fibres (3) extending for more than one turn and co-operating by contact with the adjacent fibres, such that the adjacent fibres are able to slide in relation to the others in any state of the preform other than its unfolded state where, under internal pressure, they are mutually immobilized by the friction generated between them due to a capstan effect.
Selon l'invention, la préforme tubulaire radialement déformable entre un état replié dans le sens de la longueur et un état déplié sensiblement cylindrique, pour former in-situ un tronçon de tube rigide, comporte une enveloppe intérieur (6) souple et étanche dont la mesure périphérique est égale à celle interne du tronçon de tube et, formée sur l'extérieur de cette enveloppe intérieur, une armature (2) en structure filamentaire comprenant une pluralité de fibres imprégnées d'une résine durcissable comprenant des fibres (3) orientées principalement dans le sens périphérique de la préforme, chacune de ces fibres (3) s'étendant sur plus d'un tour et coopérant par contact avec les fibres adjacentes, de sorte que les fibres adjacentes peuvent glisser les unes par rapport aux autres dans tout état de la préforme autre que son état déplié où, sous une pression interne, elles sont mutuellement immobilisées par la friction née entre elles d'un effet de cabestan.
