A system and method of testing the audio performance of an acoustic device is provided. To test a device microphone, an audio signal is generated, provided to an external speaker, outputted to the device microphone, and routed to an auxiliary input/output device where it is outputted and analyzed. To test a device speaker, an audio signal is generated, inputted to an auxiliary input/output device, routed to the device speaker, outputted to an external microphone, and outputted to an audio analyzer.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de tester les performances audio d'un dispositif acoustique. Pour tester le microphone d'un dispositif, un signal audio est généré et envoyé dans un haut parleur externe, émis en direction du microphone, puis dirigé vers un dispositif d'entrée/sortie auxiliaire, où il est émis et analysé. Pour tester un haut parleur d'un dispositif, un signal audio est généré, introduit dans un dispositif d'entrée/sortie auxiliaire, acheminé vers le haut parleur, émis en direction d'un microphone externe, puis transmis à un analyseur audio.
