Compounds represented by formula (I) wherein each of Y, X and R individually is H, OH, alkyl, alkoxy, aryl, halo, CF3 and N02, provided that at least one of Y, X and R is other than H; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are provided. Compounds of the above formula are useful as analgesics for treating pain, as immunomodulators and for treating drug abuse.

L'invention concerne des composés représentés par la formule (I) dans laquelle Y, X et R sont individuellement H, OH, alkyle, alkoxy, aryle, halo, CF3 et NO2, à condition qu'au moins un élément parmi Y, X et R soit différent de H. L'invention concerne également des sels acceptables d'un point de vue pharmaceutique desdits composés. Les composés de la formule mentionnée ci-dessus sont utilisés comme analgésiques dans le traitement de la douleur, comme immunomodulateurs, et dans le traitement de la toxicomanie.
