It is intended to disclose an oxidase gene which is useful in diagnosing RA and screening a substance for treating RA and/or a substance for treating arthritis deformans. It is also intended to disclose an examination method which is useful as a method of diagnosing RA. Further, it is intended to disclose a method of screening a substance for treating RA and/or a substance for treating arthritis deformans with the use of the novel oxidase gene as described above. It is furthermore intended to provide a process for producing a medicinal composition of a substance for treating RA and/or a substance for treating arthritis deformans, which can be obtained by the screening method as described above, containing an inhibitor for the above oxidase as the active ingredient.
L'invention concerne un gène d'oxydase utile pour diagnostiquer la polyarthrite rhumatoïde (PR) et cribler une substance permettant de traiter la PR et/ou une substance permettant de traiter l'arthrite déformante. L'invention concerne également une méthode d'examen utile pour diagnostiquer la PR. L'invention concerne en outre une méthode pour cribler une substance permettant de traiter la PR et/ou une substance permettant de traiter l'arthrite déformante au moyen du nouveau gène d'oxydase susmentionné. L'invention concerne par ailleurs un procédé pour produire une composition médicinale d'une substance permettant de traiter la PR et/ou d'une substance permettant de traiter l'arthrite déformante, pouvant être obtenue par la méthode de criblage susmentionnée, cette composition contenant comme ingrédient actif un inhibiteur de l'oxydase susmentionnée.
