A system for delivering an implantable endoprosthesis comprising: an inner member (12) having a distal region (14). An outer member (20) having a distal region (24) surrounding the inner member so that an implantable prosthesis (30) can be disposed between the distal regions of the inner and outer members. Friction-enhancing means (26) to increase contact between the distal region of the outer member with the implantable endoprosthesis and/or the inner member.
