A combination pneumatic tool and protective boot are provided. The pneumatic tool has a housing (18) and an exhaust port (20) for transmitting exhaust air from the tool along a path. The protective boot (30) is disposed about the housing and has a deflector (44) disposed in the path of the exhaust air for redirecting the exhaust air. The deflector preferably deflects the air away from an area surrounding the workpiece the tool is engaging without creating back pressure in the tool.
Cette invention concerne la combinaison d'un outil pneumatique et d'un élément de protection. L'outil pneumatique comprend un boîtier (18) et un orifice d'échappement (20) conduisant l'air d'échappement de l'outil le long d'un trajet. L'élément de protection (30) est installé autour du boîtier et comporte un déflecteur (44) placé au niveau du trajet de l'air d'échappement de façon à rediriger cet air d'échappement. Le déflecteur redirige l'air de préférence loin de la zone environnant la pièce travaillée par l'outil, sans créer de contre-pression dans l'outil.
