A connector hub comprising a number of cable interfaces is used to allow a number of network devices connected to a network to be connected in a free- form manner, yet still maintain a daisy chain configuration. A cable comprising at least two conductors, wherein the conductors are preferably a twisted pair of copper wire, is used to connect each of the network devices to a cable interface an the connector hub, so that each network device only has a single cable connected to it. The connector hub connects a master or primary network device to the network devices connected by a cable to the cable interfaces of the connector in a daisy chain configuration.
Un concentrateur comprenant un certain nombre d~interfaces de câble est utilisé pour autoriser un certain nombre de dispositifs réseau raccordés à un réseau à être connectés selon une configuration libre mais conserve néanmoins une configuration daisy chain. Un câble comprenant au moins deux conducteurs, les conducteurs étant de préférence une paire torsadée de fils de cuivre, est utilisé pour connecter chacun des dispositifs en réseau à une interface de câble et au concentrateur si bien que chaque dispositif en réseau n~est raccordé que par un unique câble. Le concentrateur raccorde un dispositif réseau maître ou primaire aux dispositifs réseau connectés par un câble aux interfaces de câble du connecteur en une configuration daisy chain.
