ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Topical, pharmaceutical compositions comprising 1.alpha.,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier wherein the pharmaceutical composition is an emulsion buffered at a pH in a range of about 6.5 to about 7.5 are described. The topical pharmaceutical compositions of the invention have good stability.
