The invention concerns an improvement in the art of inserting and expressing foreign gene into eukaryotic cells. The invention particularly concerns methods and compositions whereby viral vectors can be used to insert and express foreign genes into specifically cells having particular differentiation antigens. A method of determining which differentiation antigens can be used is taught. The invention encompasses complexes of viral particles and adapters that cause the binding and internalization of the vector particles such that a gene of interest in the particle is expressed.

L'invention concerne une amélioration de la technique d'insertion et d'expression d'un gène étranger dans des cellules eucaryotes. L'invention concerne particulièrement des procédés et des compositions par lesquels des vecteurs viraux peuvent être utilisés pour insérer et permettre l'expression de gènes étrangers dans des cellules spécifiques munies d'antigènes de différenciation particuliers. L'invention décrit un procédé pour déterminer quels antigènes de différenciation peuvent être utilisés. L'invention porte également sur des complexes formés de particules virales et d'adaptateurs qui provoquent la fixation et l'intériorisation des particules vecteurs de façon à permettre l'expression d'un gène intéressant dans la particule.
