A packaging carton for wet food such as meat and fish is made of a triple ply lamination, the top and bottom plies being plastic sheet, the intermediate ply being of carton material such as paperboard but in variants the ply is made of fluted board, honeycomb matrix or side by side thin walled tubes. The intermediate ply is cruciform allowing the corners to be rectangular areas of plastic plies joined together. These form, diagonal fold flaps which are adhered to the cruciform blank to form a fold flat carton precursor. A lid is constructed in the same manner and overlies the carton to form a container which withstands tape wrapping.
L'invention porte sur un carton d'emballage pour aliments humides de type viande et poisson, constitué d'un stratifié de trois couches, les couches inférieure et supérieure étant faites d'une feuille de matière plastique et la couche intermédiaire étant faite d'un matériau d'emballage de type carton mais pouvant être constituée, dans certaines variantes, de carton cannelé, d'une matrice alvéolaire ou de tubes à parois minces disposés côte à côte. La couche intermédiaire est en forme de croix et permet la formation à chaque coin de zones rectangulaires constituées par les deux couches de plastique jointes l'une à l'autre. Sont ainsi constitués des rabats de pliage diagonaux qui adhèrent à la découpe en forme de croix, permettant d'obtenir une préforme plate en carton à plier. Un couvercle est construit de la même manière ; il se superpose au carton pour former un contenant résistant à l'opération consistant à l'envelopper d'une bande.
