25476-169 Abstract The invention concerns a device for keeping a razor. In order to provide such a device which on the one hand allows safe storage and keeping of the razor and which on the other hand can be used as a stand from which the razor can easily be removed for proper use thereof, with the invention there is proposed a housing with two relatively pivotable housing portions (8, 2), a longitudinal guide (11) in one housing portion (8) and at least one guide element (12) which is mounted on the other housing portion (2) and slidable along the longitudinal guide (11) and which also forms the pivot point in case of pivoting of the two housing portions (8, 2) out of a first position in which the device is closed, into a second position in which the razor (1) is accessible for removal.
