The present invention relates to a group of thiazole derivatives, to methods for the preparation of these compounds, to pharmaceutical compositions containing at least one these compounds as active ingredient, as well to the use of these compositions for the treatment of psychiatric and neurological disorders and other diseases involving cannabinoid CB neurotransmission. 'The thiazole derivatives of the invention are either cannabinoid (CB) receptor antagonists, CB receptor antagonists, CB receptor inverse agonists or CB receptor partial agonists.The compounds have the general formula (l) wherein R, R1 and X have the meanings given in the specification.

La présente invention se rapporte à un groupe de dérivés du thiazole, à des procédés de préparation desdits composés, à des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant au moins l'un desdits composés en tant qu'ingrédient actif, ainsi qu'à l'utilisation desdites compositions pour traiter des troubles psychiatriques et neurologiques et d'autres maladies mettant en jeu la neurotransmission par cannabinoïdes (CB). Les dérivés du thiazole selon l'invention sont soit des antagonistes des récepteurs cannabinoïdes (CB), soit des agonistes des récepteurs CB, soit des agonistes inverses des récepteurs CB, soit des agonistes partiels des récepteurs CB.
